Dario Vieira a terminé son doctorat à Télécom SudParis (TSP, France) en décembre 2006. Au cours de son doctorat, il a été stagiaire en recherche au Intel Research Lab de Cambridge (Royaume-Uni) où il a travaillé sur la définition, la conception et la mise en œuvre d’un nouveau protocole de maintenance de session (qu’ils ont appelé Managed Session Protocol – MSP). Il a été membre du groupe de recherche en réseau informatique de l’Université d’État de Campinas – Unicamp, au Brésil. Il a reçu sa maîtrise Diplôme en informatique de l’Unicamp en mars 1999.
